The Candidate Valuer Programme was formally introduced by the Office of the Valuer-General on April 17, 2024, during the Africa Valuations Conference Gala Dinner, which OVG hosted.

On the night which was themed: Embracing African Culture the organisation reflected on the milestones that the OVG has achieved since its enactment in 2014.    

The Candidate Value programme onboards 10 young people who entrusts the OVG to assist in developing their knowledge of valuation procedures, obtain enough real-world experience in property valuation, and eventually register as Professional or Professional Associated Valuers.

This is certainly in line with our objectives of positioning OVG as not only a cutting-edge property valuation organization but also as an employer of choice that fosters personal development for all that goes through its ranks.
