Valuations Management is the core business function within OVG. It is concerned with all the activities undertaken by the OVG to process valuations and quality assurance requests from acceptance of requests, through quality assurance to issuing final certificates to the requesting Clients, who then effect land acquisitions for land reform purposes. The Valuations Management function also makes available a valuation service for the valuation of government owned land for non-land reform purposes. The Valuations Management Value Chain is supported by ICT for technology support and the PMO for support with tracking and management reporting.
There are four sub functions/processes that make up the Valuations Management business function. These sub functions/processes are determined by the handoffs between them and the subject of the activities undertaken by the roles therein. They are to:
